What format are the photos in? When you order your limited edition print it will be on premium photographic paper (normally from Kodak or Agfa.) Unframed prints, the best option for shipping, is sent protected by a firm cardboard tube with your photograph wrapped in tissue paper. All photos, even the largest poster size, are genuine chemical photo processed and guaranteed to be pin-sharp. I do not sell any inkjet or laser printing or similar inferior products. All downloadable WaterVista photos are in JPG format and will be in the size/resolution chosen when you Add an item to the shopping cart.
Do you add photos on a regular basis? Yes. I add photos as they are taken. Click on "Newest Photos" to see the latest photos that I have posted. Occasional "Events" will be posted such as a sailing regatta or wreck scuba dive etc.
Do you offer refunds? If you have ordered a limited edition print (to physically ship to you rather than a digital download) in error and can inform me of the adjustment before it is printed for you then I can arrange and exchange or refund. Once your downloadable purchase is made I cannot offer a refund. The reason for this policy is because I offer full access to the entire digital collection of photos and, as such, there is no way for the products to be returned. Once a download is made it must be paid for.
Are there any restrictions on my use of the WaterVista photos that I purchase as print or download? Yes. While WaterVista offers great freedoms and a wide ranges of uses, we do not allow the redistribution of our photos, or allow the use of our photos within products that are mass distributed in any type of archive format. The use of any image from this site cannot be used in any way that would connect that image to indecent or obscene acts. You may further not reproduce, distribute or display the image (including, without limitation, by itself or in combination with any other work of authorship) in any manner that is libelous or slanderous or otherwise defamatory, obscene or indecent.
If I purchase a subscription are there any other fees I will encounter when downloading from the site? No, an unlimited membership subscription, when offered, allows you full access to download any photos on our site at no extra charge.A Free Account or subscription entitles you to no downloads but gives you access to extra site features.
Is account sharing allowed? No, sharing an account is no different than distributing our materials to others. Individual accounts must be purchased by your friends and colleagues.
I bought a subscription or paid for a download, but it says I'm not activated, what do I do? On rare occasions our merchant processors may not send the information of your transaction to my system, so your account may not be automatically activated. Therefore, if you have made a purchase of an image or of a yearly subscription and you are not able to access photos on WaterVista using your details, send a support request for our immediate response.
